Family Enclosure
Following consultation with the MSC, Junior Lions and FOTB the following letter has been sent out to season ticket holders in the Family Enclosure:
As a valued season ticket holder in the Family Enclosure, firstly let me apologise for not writing directly to you prior to the season ticket offer letter being sent out for season 2008/9.
We have been having some issues in the Family Enclosure during the season, particularly with matchday tickets being purchased by adults who then attend without children.
Having spoken to Millwall Supporters Club and Junior Lions representatives it was decided that a change of policy would be needed to ensure that this area is as welcoming to you and your families as is possible.
Please be assured attracting families and children down to The Den is top of our priorities - you are the future of Millwall Football Club.
By making the family enclosure smaller (Blocks 41,42 and 43) we thought it would ensure that families' requirements were better catered for and we therefore would be able to offer a better solution for 2008/9.
However, having seen and listened to some of your concerns and
valued feedback over the last few days and having further consulted the FOTB Peter Garston , the MSC and Junior Lions it is clear that we needed to review this decision.
As a result therefore we have decided to continue to operate the Family Enclosure in the whole of the Lower East next season and offer you all as current season ticket holders the opportunity to renew your current seat for the forthcoming season.
The Family Enclosure offer price is as per the season ticket mailer sent to you last week.
We will also do all we can to ensure that in future only families are purchasing matchday tickets for the family enclosure and the offers attracting children down to The Den are not open to abuse from adults obtaining and using those tickets.
We really value your views. We have listened and will continue to do so.
