Ross Gaynor struck a 75th-minute penalty as The Lions battled from a 1-0 half-time deficit to secure a 1-1 draw with Brighton reserves on Wednesday afternoon.
The young striker, who has recently returned from a loan spell at Fisher, converted the spot-kick after Guy Butters grappled Peter Vincenti to the ground.
In a relatively uneventful first half Alex Revell gave The Seagulls the lead on the stroke of half-time when he netted from barely a yard after Chris Day had parried an initial header following a free-kick.
That apart, the best opportunities before the break fell firstly to Nathan Elder, whose low drive was saved by the legs of Day while at the other end Vincenti should have done better when he scooped a Ryan James' cross over the bar just prior to Albion's opener.
The second half proved more eventful with Vincenti going close for Millwall on a couple of occasions, most notably on 51 minutes when he rounded Seagulls keeper John Sullivan but hesitated just long enough for Sullivan to grab the ball before he was able to roll it into an empty net.
Gary Hart was unlucky to see a well-struck half volley rebound off a post for the visitors and Michael Kamara had a headed goal disallowed on 55 minutes.
There were opportunies for both sides after Gaynor's leveller with his cross-shot well saved by Sullivan a minute from time before Day foiled Revell right at the death.
