Mark came through the ranks at Millwall and, had it not been for injuries, he would surely have made far more than the 59 appearances he had notched up prior to the start of the 2006/7 campaign. Strong in the air, committed in the tackle and good in possession, this centre back has all the attributes required to make one of the defensive positions his own. His adaptability has also seen him fill in at right back, where he in fact made his debut.
