Millwall's Community Scheme have May half-term activities to look forward to before their full summer programme kicks in at the end of July - which, as always, are open to children aged between six and 14 of all abilities.
You will be able to find the Scheme operating soccer schools at these locations from May 27th - 30th:
* The Lions Centre (next to The Den), Bolina Road, SE16
* Dulwich Sports & Social Club, Giant Arches Road, off Burbage Road, SE24
* Downham Leisure Centre, Moorside Road, BR1 5ER
These courses run from 10am - 3pm each day and involve football
coaching, skills training and small-sided games, which are a great way to keep children occupied and active during the holidays!
Call the community scheme office on 020 7740 0503 for more details, or visit www.millwallfc.co.uk nearer the time. During the summer there will be holiday courses at the same locations and more, including the Catford PowerLeague.
And as well as the soccer schools we will also be putting on a range of other courses including:
* The Millwall Skillz Challenge where participants receive coaching in a range of skills and then get tested to assess a bronze, silver or gold award
* Advanced Soccer School at the Millwall training ground for those looking to focus on higher level development
* Girls Only soccer schools - supporting grass roots development of girls' football, and linked to our girls' football academy. There will also be a three-day residential for girls to Bradfield College in Reading
* Goalkeeping Masterclass featuring specialised goalkeeping coaching
* Cubz Kickers sessions - for toddlers aged 4 - 6
* Four-day sports camps including athletics, basketball and netball
More details on these activities will be available on the club website confirming times, locations and costs.
All activities are fun and offer kids the chance to meet friends and improve their sporting skills - so find the activity nearest to you and sign up soon!
