Neil Harris hit his 100th and 101st goals for Millwall as The Lions maintained their push up the League One table with a hard-fought win against Carlisle United.
Chopper finally broke the visitors' stubborn resistenceon 52 minutes with a cool angled finish, and then wrapped up victory eight minutes from time, slotting home from close-range after Tony Craig's effort had hit the bar.
Victory was ultimately no more than Willie Donachie's charges deserved after they dug deep against a well-organised Carlisle outfit that pushed the home side all the way.
Donachie named an unchanged team for a third successive game, but The Lions had a decidely jittery look about them in the opening exchanges.
Twice goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley came to the rescue in the opening five minutes to prevent Carlisle establishing a 2-0 lead.
There were just three minutes on the clock when a United corner was only half cleared and Chris Lumsdon had time to chest the ball down before unleashing a stinging shot that Pidgeley managed to get a hand to low down to turn away for a corner.
Barely 60 seconds later Pidgeley was called into action again, this time with a magnificent reflex save to tip Danny Livesey's point-blank effort over the bar.
Millwall were surprisingly quiet as an attacking force during the opening half, although The Lions had two penalty appeals turned down, the first when Darren Byfield appeared to have his legs taken away by Livesey on nine minutes and then Danny Senda was sent sprawling by Zigo Arandalde.
But referee Phil Joslyn was having none of it, and waved play on in both instances.
Millwall's only noteworthy effort at goal in a disappointing opening half came after 32 minutes when Senda and Marvin Elliott combined to pick out Tom Brighton on the left.
The young Scot weaved his way into the area, only to send a curling right-foot shot high and wide of the target.
Alan Dunne replaced Neal Ardley at the break, and his introduction saw a positive response from the home side.
Within seven minutes of the restart Harris picked up a deep ball from Craig in front of goal, spun one way, seemed to have lost control of it but then swivelled and fired home from the tightest angle imaginable for his 100th league goal in a Millwall shirt.
Less than a minute later the tireless Byfield flicked the ball on to Harris who controlled the ball, turned and let fly with a wicked volley that dipped no more than six inches wide of keeper Keiren Westwood's right-hand post.
Brighton could have made it 2-0 just past the hour mark, but thumped the ball over the bar from eight yards following more good work by Craig and Brighton.
At the other end a slick, quick attacking move sliced the Millwall rearguard open, but Pidgeley proved an unbeatable last line of defence with another athletic save, this time palming the lively Johann Smith's goalbound effort away for a corner.
The Lions responded with Harris' header from a Senda delivery held by Westwood, Brighton testing the Carlisle keeper and then Harris again being denied by a goalline clearance from the keeper.
But The Lions, spurred on by a season's best home crowd of 10,415, were not to be denied a second goal which duly arrived eight minutes from time.
There seemed to be little danger when Craig sent a looping shot that looked to be going over the bar, but the ball suddenly dipped, smacked the crossbar and fell perfectly for Harris to slide in the rebound from close-range.
Thereafter it was a matter of keeping possession and playing out the final few minutes before referee Joslin blew the final whistle on a win that takes The Lions to within five points of the Play-Offs.
